NetFlow Tracker from Fluke Networks Systems is the solution that uses Cisco IOS NetFlow and IPFIX information for in-depth LAN/WAN and application troubleshooting, trend analysis and capacity planning. This real time monitoring of NetFlow and IPFIX data allows network managers to have the detailed information necessary to identify, isolate and troubleshoot network performance issues.

Instalacia Linux

podporovanymi distribuciami su:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Fedora Core 8

Poziadavky

  • Java (najnovsia verzia)
  • MySQL (najnovsia verzia)

1.) stiahnut http://www.flukenetworks.com/FNet/en-gb/findit?Document=9823147

2.) nainstalovat alien a konvertovat .rpm do .deb 

sudo apt-get install alien
sudo alien --scripts nftracker-6.0-25.i386.rpm

3.) nainstalovat .deb balicek

sudo dpkg -i nftracker_6.0-26_i386.deb

!!! instalacia neprebehla korektne !!!

ani brute-force pokus o odstranenie balicka pomocou sudo dpkg --force-all -r nftracker nebol uspesnejsi. vyhlasil toto:

Instalacia pod Linuxom nebola uspesna

Instalacia Win

1.) stiahnut http://www.flukenetworks.com/FNet/en-gb/findit?Document=9822602

2.) naistalovat stiahnuty .exe subor (staci klikat na next)

Instalacia prebehla bez problemov

Testovaci scenar Win - Linux

Kedze instalacia pod Linuxom nebola uspesna, musel som vyuzit instalaciu pod Win. Testovaci scenar bol takyto: NetFlow Tracker v roli kolektora a analyzera beziaci na PC s Win a mybeem beziaci na inom PC s Linuxom. Mybeem bol nakonfigurovany tak aby exportoval data na IP 192.168.1.44, port 4739. NetFlow Tracker tu pocuval. (pozri screen1). V dolnej casti obrazku je potvrdene Wiresharkom, ze PC s Win prijimal IPFIX pakety smerujuce na dany port.

Napriek tomu na obrazku screen2 vidiet, ze NetFlow Tracker data nespracoval.
